Sorry for your loss. I am thankful for good memories of Cathie and our friendship in elementary school through high school. May the LORD comfort and encourage you and bring wonderful memories of times together.

I am sorry to hear of Cathie's passing, I remember her in her mom and dad's grocery store when she was very young. She was a very gifted artist and a sweet person, RIP.

Cathie L. (Williams)'s Obituary

Cathie L. (Williams) White, age 67, of Casey, Illinois passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Heartland Nursing Center in Casey, Illinois.  She was born July 23, 1951 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the youngest daughter of Charles E. Williams and Pauline Drake Williams.

Survivors include her sister, Charlene K. Williams of Casey, Illinois; her cousins, Nancy Level of Champaign, Illinois, Gloria Ingram of Champaign, Illinois and Wanda Jean Strader of Fort Wayne, Indiana, her Church family and many friends. Her parents and sister, Judith Ann Williams preceded her in death.

Cathie graduated from Casey High School with the Class of 1969.  She was a 1973graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree with an art major.  She was a member of the Casey First Baptist Church.  Cathie worked as a form designer for Indiana Public Service (Duke Energy) in Plainfield, Indiana.  She enjoyed antiquing, shopping and traveling.  She traveled with a camera in hand, always taking pictures to use as inspiration for her next painting.  Cathie was a wonderfully talented artist and painter; attending art shows throughout the Midwest to display and sell her art work.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, Illinois with Rev. Gene Ellis officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Westfield, Illinois.  Visitation will be held from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, Illinois.
