Alice Renee Pajak, age 42, of Casey, IL passed away at 7:32 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL. She was born April 26, 1976 in Charleston, IL, the daughter, of Michael Henry Vaughn and Mary Alice Zarka. On November 1, 2013 she married Thomas Patrick Pajak in Tybee Island, GA.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Pajak of Casey, IL; mother, Mary Freeman (Marshall) of Casey, IL; father, Mike Vaughn (Marianne) of Greenup, IL; son, Tanner Brown of Casey, IL; stepsons, Tim Pajak, Jon Pajak and Joe Pajak; brothers, Michael Bleu Vaughn (Noell) of Highland Park, IL and Ryan Freeman (Ashley) of Lake Worth, FL; sisters, Terri Cox (Terry) of Casey, IL, Toni Brandenburg (Toby) of Kansas, IL and Tory Hickman (Michael) of Vincennes, IN; best friends, Tee Grant (Dennis); Bethany Doran and Sherry McCaslin; many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by grandmother, Barbara Ellen Vaughn and other grandparents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Hickman officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 noon – 2 p.m. prior to the service at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL. Private family burial will be in Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL.
Renee was a 1994 graduate of Casey Westfield High School. She was employed with CTF Illinois where she cared for developmentally disabled adults. Renee enjoyed traveling, hiking and concerts… especially the Dave Matthews Band. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and dearly loved her dogs, Vinny, Oliver and Wrigley and her cat, Pippa Pauline Pajak.
