Prayers go out for the family, especially his children. I went to school with Dustin and have ran into him numerous times since. I always liked him. He will be missed by many!!!

My condolences to the family. May you find peace in the Lord during this most difficult time.

I just met Dustin shortly after his wedding and was very impressed with him. My heart goes out to Jennifer and family and his son Austin.

Dustin was a great guy. He was always laughing and joking around. Prayers for Jennifer, all the kids, family, and friends. So sorry he had to go so soon. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. R.I.P. my friend

So sorry for the families loss! I went to pinckneyville school with dustin and knew him for many years! I have lost contact over the years with a lot of my old classmates but still hits close to home! I also know jen, bailey, and Billy!

Dustin A. 's Obituary

Dustin A. Woodside, age 38, of Pinckneyville, IL, formerly of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 7:30 a.m. in his home.

Dustin was born on April 25, 1980 in Red Bud, IL, a son to Roger Wayne and Julie Ann (Dintelman) Woodside. On September 14, 2018, he married his girlfriend of 9 years and love of his life, Jennifer Chenault Rainey and she survives. He was of the Christian faith and had graduated from Pinckneyville Community High School in 1998. He was a diesel mechanic at Tom Weekley Trucking, Coulterville, IL. Dustin was a member of the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers Automotive Lodge 777, St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his son, and working on trucks, but his greatest love was his family and spending time with them.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Woodside of Pinckneyville, IL; his son, Austin Woodside of Coulterville, IL; his father and stepmother, Roger and Maria Woodside of Hesperia, CA; his mother and stepfather, Julie and Jodi Hofmeister of Coulterville, IL; his maternal grandmother, Lorene Dintelman of Coulterville, IL; a stepson, Bill Rainey of Pinckneyville, IL; a stepdaughter, Bailey Rainey of Pinckneyville, IL; a brother, Brandon Woodside of Coulterville, IL; a sister, Hayley (Wayde) Phillips of Tilden, IL; a stepsister, Jodie Lynn Hofmeister of Pinckneyville, IL; a niece, Kynlee Phillips; three step-nieces, Aubrey, Audra and Aspen Phillips; a step-nephew, Braxton Kelly; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Florence Woodside; his maternal grandfather, Melvin Dintelman; and his great-grandparents, Leslie and Elizabeth Russell.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Kimberly Allen officiating. Interment will be in Swanwick Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL at a later date.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
