Karen was a very sweet woman always smiling at chruch and smiling at our little boys. Prayers for her family. She will be very missed member of our chruch family.

To the Family of Karen, you have our sympathy and love. We are thinking of you. It hurts a lot, when you lose your loved one. Trust in God to help you through the sadness. Being friends for many years, we love you!! God Bless.

So sorry to hear of Karen's passing. I got re-acquainted with Karen & Jack about 4-5 years ago
when I started walking. They were always at the park early in the morning. It was good visiting
with them until Karen's health prevented them from walking at the park any more. My thoughts
and prayers are with all of their family.

Karen Eileen Rennison, age 78, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 1:15 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL.

Karen was born on May 30, 1940 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Robert P. and Eileen M. (Grohman) Yeager. On October 10, 1959, she married Jack Rennison at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL and he survives. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL and was a Sunday school teacher for 40 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed needlepoint and embroidering and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Jack Rennison of Pinckneyville, IL; three children, Bob (Tena) Rennison of DuQuoin, IL, Kathy (Jeff) Davis of Pinckneyville, IL and Matthew (Kristi) Rennison of Belleville, IL; a brother, Ray (Barbara) Yeager of Pinckneyville, IL; eleven grandchildren, Rob (Brittany) Rennison of Monroe, NC, Scott Rennison (fiancé, Sophie) of DuQuoin, IL, Jon Rennison of DuQuoin, IL, Kristen (Patrick) Hogg of Belleville, IL, Jessica (Luke) Hicks of Tamaroa, IL, Kelsey (Jake) Phillips of Shawnee, OK, Jarred Davis of Pinckneyville, IL, and Sarah, Luke, Faith and Gracelyn Rennison, all of Belleville, IL; and five great-grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Persephone, Tinley and Jace.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Cindy Bean officiating. Interment will follow.

Visitation will be held at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL or American Diabetes Association.
