It was such a pleasure to get to grow up down the road from Ty. I got to go see the furs and learn all kinds of things on a daily basis!! You never forget your childhood.....and He sure was a big part of mine. Rest in peace my friend.

Tyrone Lindner, age 70, of DuQuoin, IL, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 4:47 p.m. in Marshall Browning Hospital, DuQuoin, IL.
Tyrone was born August 4, 1948 in Murphysboro, IL, the son of William (Bill) and LaVaughn (Valerius) Lindner. On May 5, 2005, he married Shirley Griffin at Pioneer’s Cabin, Willisville, IL and she survives. He had worked as an equipment operator for the Operating Engineers Local #520 for 43 years and was owner and operator of American Fur Enterprises for 23 years. Tyrone was a former owner of the Windsor Hotel, 313 Tavern and Windsor Tavern. He was of the Baptist faith and had been a member of Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL. He was a federal firearms dealer for over 30 years and loved trapping, fishing, hunting and taking trips to Canada.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Lindner of DuQuoin, IL; two stepsons, Aaron (Nicki) Asbury of DuQuoin, IL and Kevin (Christy) Asbury of Pinckneyville, IL; one stepdaughter, Shawna (Michael) Soares of Norfolk, MA; one sister, Rita (Joe) Rayle of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Kirstin, Tyler, Blake, Rylie, Whitney, Olivia, Madison and Andrew; and two great-grandchildren, Trinity and Tucker (on the way).
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at noon with Pastor James Clardy officiating. Interment will be at Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
Memorial donations may be made to Galum Presbyterian Cemetery.
