Sue fought a courageous battle with a very positive attitude! She chose to live each day in gratitude. The amount of visitors she had in her last days are a testament to how many friends she had made throughout her life! I commend her family who supported her through it all! She will be missed!

Sue Reitz, age 75, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:10 a.m. in Coulterville Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Coulterville, IL.
Sue was born on July 11, 1943 in Coulterville, IL, a daughter to Milford and Maude (Meyer) Mueller, Sr. She had worked over 35 years in the business office at Dr. Orlan Pflasterer’s office and later worked for Sparta Community Hospital. She was a member of Coulterville United Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL, the Women’s Club, the Historical Society and had served on the Coulterville Library Board for 50 years. Sue had be awarded the Outstanding Citizen Award and had enjoyed sewing, flower gardening and bird watching.
Survivors include two brothers, Milford Von Mueller, Jr. (companion, Martha Aaron) of Coulterville, IL and Bill (Linda) Mueller of Sparta, IL; a sister, Gretchen (Curt) Steele of Coulterville, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Sally Simundson.
Funeral services will be held at Coulterville United Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kimberly Allen officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL.
Friends may call at Coulterville United Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Coulterville Public Library or Coulterville Historical Society.
