Daniel D.'s Obituary

Daniel D. Ruppert, age 66, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 3:00 a.m. in Evelyn’s House Hospice, Creve Couer, MO.

Daniel was born on September 9, 1952 in DuQuoin, IL, a son to Frank and Minerva (Robb) Ruppert. On July 29, 2000, he married Belinda VanVactor in Sparta, IL and she survives. He had worked over 20 years as an energy consultant. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, IL. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and president of the Coulterville Chamber of Commerce. Daniel enjoyed fishing and traveling and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Belinda Ruppert of Coulterville, IL; a step-daughter, Christina Clark of Coulterville, IL; two brothers, Lonnie (Melinda) Ruppert of Coulterville, IL and Frank J. (Connie) Ruppert of Coulterville, IL; three sisters, Kathy (Bryan) Sprehe of Coulterville, IL, Rebecca (Paul) Kenner of Sarasota, FL and Mary Susan Ruppert-Stroescue (Bogdan Stroescue) of St. Louis, MO; a special aunt, Shirley Ruppert of Pinckneyville, IL; and numerous other aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Francis McKinstry; and a nephew, Brian Ruppert.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, IL on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Vincent Mukasa officiating. Interment will be in Swanwick Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, IL on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, at the church, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Evelyn’s House Hospice, Creve Couer, MO.
