Julie's Obituary

Julie Lynn Wiggers, age 47, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 7:01 a.m.

Julie was born on June 5, 1971 in Litchfield, IL, a daughter to John William and Lynne Marie (Elvers) Murphy. On February 26, 2013, she married Steven Dale Wiggers in Nashville, IL and he survives. She worked as a correctional officer at Menard Correctional Facility, Chester, IL and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL. She was a member of the A.F.S.C.M.E. Union and loved her pets, fishing, decorating and building things and was very crafty.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Wiggers of Coulterville, IL; her parents, John William and Lynne Marie Murphy of Pinckneyville, IL; six children, Grant Murphy of Pinckneyville, IL, Christina Murphy of Pinckneyville, IL, Chandra Carroll of West Frankfort, IL, Brianna Carroll of West Frankfort, IL, Jordan Wiggers of Coulterville, IL, and Olivia Wiggers of Coulterville, IL; a brother, John William (Gina) Murphy, II of Pinckneyville, IL; and a grandson, Treyvan Slane of West Frankfort, IL.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Tim and Margaret Murphy and maternal grandparents, Beaman and Wilma Elvers.

A memorial service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Julie’s children or to the Perry County Humane Society.
