To Paula Kirk family: First met Paula many years ago when she moved to Lawrenceville and found her to be both a beautiful person on the inside and out. She was in sorority with me and later in her life we use to see her and talk to her at the VU Basketball games. Always had that little twinkle in her eyes even though you new she had to feel awful. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Paula was the best roommate to my mother at Magnolia Center.Lost my mother in July, so maybe they can be roommates again.

Seems like after HS we all go our separate ways, grow apart & wish each other the best but that never takes away the memories that were made. Whether we were headed down 49, cruising the main drag in Casey or playing softball for many different teams, I want to say, THANKS for the memories we made together, Paula. Paula Kay Richardson's Obituary

Paula Kay Richardson Kirk, age 59, of Casey, IL formerly of Lawrenceville, IL passed away peacefully at 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Casey HealthCare Center, Casey, IL after a long illness with diabetes and renal failure.  She was born May 7, 1959 in Charleston, IL, the daughter of proud parents, Jerry Irwin and Janice Karole Huddlestun Richardson.

Paula was blessed with her loving family that survives her.  She said goodbye to her mother, Janice Richardson of Casey, IL and daughters, Devan Webster (Alan) of Robinson, IL and Cori Beanblossom (Todd) of Lawrenceville, IL. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Trevan Webster, Traycen Webster, Harley Beanblossom and Letti Beanblossom; brothers, Jeff Richardson (Robyn) of Magnolia, TX; Jed Richardson (Susan) of Marshall, IL and Jay Richardson (Jill) of Yorkville, IL; aunts, Jill Shawver of Casey, IL and Marilyn Kusterman of Casey, IL; many nephews, nieces and friends.  Paula will be received into Heaven by her grandparents, Bruce and Eleanor Huddlestun and Dale and Leah Richardson, her father, sister in law, Lydina Schiver Richardson; father of her daughters and grandson, Trevor Webster.  

Paula was raised on the family farm with her three brothers in rural Casey, IL. The 1976 Homecoming Queen graduated with honors with the Casey High School Class of 1977.  In 1979 she graduated with honors from Prospect Hall Business College, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  Paula proudly worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Athletic Department of Vincennes University for many years.  She enjoyed reading, shopping and collecting Precious Moments and was as a representative and collector of Longaberger baskets.  Paula was a member of Casey United Methodist Church. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Markwell Funeral Home with Pastor Jacqueline Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL.  Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
