Donna Eilene Finley Dambacher

Donna Eilene Finley Dambacher, age 77, of Marshall, IL passed away at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born May 20, 1941 in Westfield, IL, the daughter of William Ellis Finley and Mildred E. Merrick Finley. On November 17, 1967 she married Delmar “Dell” Burton Dambacher in West Union, Illinois.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Dell Dambacher of Marshall, IL; son, William Tony Cushman and his wife Kylee of Marshall, IL; daughter, Mitzie A. Stevenson and husband Mondrell of Peoria, IL, three grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Alderman of Lincoln, IL, and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly and enjoyed spending time with. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Ruth Wilson and Maxine Kirkley.

Donna worked at Burnside Nursing Home in Marshall, IL, helped care for elderly in their own homes, cleaned houses and also worked for the Marshall VFW Post 5975 for several years. She attended the Wesleyan Church of Marshall in Marshall, IL.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Markwell Funeral Home in Casey, IL, with Pastor Paul Burress officiating. Burial will follow in Marshall Cemetery, Marshall, IL. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
