Peggy's Obituary

Peggy Robinson, age 86, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 4:46 a.m. in Belleville Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Peggy was born on September 11, 1932 in Conant, IL, a daughter to Edgar and Lucy (Morgan) Newsom. On August 16, 1952, she married Kenneth R. Robinson in Sparta, IL and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2017. Peggy had worked for the Pinckneyville Garment Factory and Bridal Originals. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Coulterville, IL and was a Sunday school teacher for 16 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, making quilts for family, traveling and swimming.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan K. (Larry) Grab of Steeleville, IL; two sons, Kenneth R. (Kathy) Robinson, Jr of Coulterville, IL and Don Robinson of Pinckneyville, IL; nine grandchildren, Tracy Allard, Andrew Grab, Christopher Robinson, Kyle Robinson, Beth Ann Robinson, Dustin Robinson, Daniel Robinson, Kaci Robinson and Clinton Robinson; nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister and brother-in-law, Lorane and Robert Sharp; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Norma Newsom.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL, on Monday, December 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Tim McIntyre officiating. Interment will be at Swanwick Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL.

Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Coulterville, IL.
