Kenn Eugene Shutts

Kenn Eugene Shutts, age 66, of Shelbyville, IL formerly of Casey, IL and Mattoon, IL passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at his home.  He was born August 1, 1952 in Mattoon, IL, the son of Elmer Edward Shutts and Marjorie Eloise Ferris Shutts.

Survivors include his daughters, Amy Silverman of Greenup, IL and Shannon Lamb of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Peyton Lamb, Curtis Watters, Ron Silverman, Nick Silverman (Jessica), Kennedy Drennan, Raygen Drennan and Madyson Waugh; great grandchildren, Myles Silverman and Mia Silverman and nephews and nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jessica Lynn Shutts; brother, George Shutts; infant brother, Elmer Edward Shutts, Jr. and sister, Lois Keown. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Howard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon, IL.  Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL. 

Kenn was a retired machinist from Caterpillar in Decatur, IL.  He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.
