Lois Imogene's Obituary

Lois Imogene Adams, age 80, of Casey, IL passed away at 1:35 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Casey Health Care Center, Casey, IL.  She was born December 20, 1938 in Union Center, IL, the daughter of Joseph Albert Melton and Lora Ulrey Melton.  On July 20 1957 she married Ronald Neal Adams in Westfield, IL. 

Survivors include her devoted husband of 61 years, Ronnie Adams of Casey, IL; daughters, Sherry Lynne Edwards (Tony) of Westfield, IL and Lora Marie Davis (Arkie) of Westfield, IL; grandchildren, Shane Davis (Bekky), Tracy Trosen (Scott), Amanda Burns (Chet) and Aubrey Hunt (Jerry) and great grandchildren, Aiden and Addisen Trosen, Diesel Davis, Chase and Bryce Burns, Jackson Hayes and Charlotte Hunt.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Iosie Wayne Melton (Bernice) and Joseph Floyd Melton (Beaulah). 

Imogene was a 1957 graduate of Westfield High School.  She was a homemaker and a custodian for Casey High School from 1994 – 1999.  Imogene enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with her family.

At her request private graveside funeral services and burial will be held at Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey and Curt Weaver officiating.
