My heart goes out to the family for their loss of a beautiful sweet lady. R.i.h marilyn. You will sadly be missed by all who knew you. Keeping you all in my prayers during your time of sorrow. I love you all.

God truly gained an angel Marilyn was a wonderful woman. She is with my sister Jessica now. Together they will be watching over the people they took care of and their families also . She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Fly high beautiful.

Heaven gained a beautiful angel, may you always be loved and missed. You and gma are together again in peace and love. We love you

We are sorry to see that Marilyn has passed. Have heard many good things about her through the years. We did not know her, but it sounds like she was a really great lady. Again, we are sorry for your loss.

As the days and weeks pass, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Deepest sympathy to Dad (Steve), Maxine, Sharon and to her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many.

Marilyn Marie Allison's Obituary

Marilyn Marie Allison Osborne, age 66, of Casey, IL formerly of Danville, IL passed away 4:53 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the home of her daughter in Westfield, IL.  She was born December 29, 1952 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Homer Harold Allison and Margaret Elizabeth Selser Allison.   She was married to David Cox, Sr. and later to Darrell Osborne.

Survivors include her children, David Cox, Jr. of Robinson, IL; Melissa Coleman (Mark) of Westfield, IL and Katrina Bean of Terre Haute, IN; brother, Steve Allison (Glenda) of Danville, IL; sisters, Maxine Cotton of Danville, IL and Sharon Allison of Danville, IL; sister in law, Margaret and eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Harold, Carl and Charlie.

Marilyn worked at Trailmobile in Charleston, IL for over 20 years.  Her true passion was caring for the elderly; for over twenty years Marilyn has provided exemplary in-home care for many in the area.  She also worked as a housekeeper and a CNA in the local nursing homes.  Marilyn raised her family in the Baptist Church and continued her Baptist faith throughout her life.  Marilyn loved animals, especially cats and wolves.  She will be missed by her loving family and friends. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Ellis officiating.  Burial will follow in Vernon Addition, Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL.  Visitation will be held from 12 pm to 2 pm on Monday prior to the service at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
