Aunt Deb, I'm at a loss for words. I miss you so much. Even tho I didnt see you as often as I'd liked theres still a huge void with you not being here. I love you so much! We are so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful and kind person. We enjoyed talking with you both on your rounds with golf cart at the Marissa Rec. She will be missed by many people and its very sad she had to leave so young.

Deborah's Obituaries

Deborah Gilley, age 59, of Marissa, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 3:05 p.m. in her home.

Deborah was born on September 20, 1959 in Red Bud, IL, a daughter to Merle A. and Margaret (Jones) Knope. On August 8, 2000, she married Craig Gilley in Gatlinburg, TN and he survives. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL. Deborah enjoyed home decorating, crafts, painting, flower gardening and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Craig Gilley of Marissa, IL; three sons, Dustin (Chrissy) Robinson of Nashville, IL, Daniel (Mandy) Robinson of Tamaroa, IL and Chad (Tara) Gilley of Marissa, IL; a daughter, Gina (Ryan) Mesnarich of Baldwin, IL; seven grandchildren, Hayden, Talan and Reagan Robinson, Addison Robinson, Brett Gilley, Chase Hurst, and Lydia Mesnarich; a brother, Glen (Jeanette) Knope of Baldwin, IL; and three sisters, Norma Reilly of Troy, IL, Alice “Sue” Thornton of Coulterville, IL and Merlene Filipsic of Sparta, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers-in-law, Tom Reilly, Gene Thornton and Mike Filipsic.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL.

Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
