Rick Schwarz, age 59, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 8:40 p.m. in his home.
Rick was born on April 3, 1959 in Pinckneyville, IL, a son of Ervin C. and Ruby P. (Rigdon) Schwarz. He had worked as a forklift operator for various companies through his life time. Rick was a member at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL. He enjoyed playing golf many years ago, deer hunting and fishing. Rick loved spending time with his dog, Buddy.
Survivors include two brothers, Steve Schwarz of Pinckneyville, IL and Bruce (Margie) Schwarz of Pinckneyville, IL; one sister, Debra (Dean) Blades of Pinckneyville, IL; six nieces and nephews, Mariah Chapman, Evan Chapman, Tyler Schwarz, Trevor Schwarz, Trenton Schwarz and Travis Schwarz; and several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Visitation will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL has been entrusted with the arrangements.
