Addie Swallers, age 69, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 4:07 p.m. in her home.
Addie was born on October 27, 1949 in Chicago, IL, a daughter to Leo and Grace (Flare) Swallers. She had worked at H.E.B. Grocery Store, Bay City, TX as a scan coordinator then later in her life she had worked at Moto Mart, Pinckneyville, IL. Addie enjoyed crocheting, genealogy, being outdoors, barbequing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Jodi) Medina Sr. of Pinckneyville, IL and Johnnie (Rachel) Medina Jr. of Danbury, TX; two daughters, Deborah Grace Medina of Bay City, TX and Angela Presswood of DuQuoin, IL; one sister, Dixie (Terry) Attebery of Pinckneyville, IL; three half-sisters, Betty (Brett) Newell of LaSalle, IL, Sophia Swallers of LaSalle, IL and Lucille (William) Dilling of LaSalle, IL; two half-brothers, Robert Swallers of LaSalle, IL and Leo Swallers of LaSalle, IL; sixteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Roy Swallers; and one sister, Nellie Winkley.
Memorial Service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
