Dale Leon Handley, age 72, of Charleston, IL passed away at 7:36 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County, IL. He was born February 12, 1947 in Effingham, IL, the son of Ralph Lester Handley and Evelyn Pearl Beasley Handley.
Survivors include his brothers, Paul Handley (Josephine) of Casey, IL and Donald Handley (Marie) of Casey, IL; sister in law, Barbara Handley of Mesa, AZ; many nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ruth Anna Handley and brother, Neil Handley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Ledley officiating. Burial will follow in Jack Oak Cemetery, Cumberland County, IL. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL 62420.
