Raymond William “Bill” Willison, age 73, of Martinsville, IL passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN. He was born May 3, 1945 in Hammond, IN the son of Raymond H. Willison and Ethel M. Hunt Willison.
Survivors include his daughter, Becky Lynn Shaw (Rex) of Westfield, IL; grandsons, Dustin Shaw (Brenna) of Pensacola, FL; Jeremy Shaw (Kim) of Casey, IL and Travis Shaw (Summer) of Casey, IL and great granddaughters, Summer, Kiara, Emmalynn, Stormi and Piper. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill was a retired after forty years as an over the road truck driver. He was a Vietnam War veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1967-1988. Bill was a member of Martinsville American Legion. He enjoyed driving, traveling and camping.
At his request, graveside inurnment will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Westfield, IL with Rex Shaw officiating. Graveside Military Honors will be provided by Casey VFW and Martinsville American Legion.
Memorial donations may be made to Martinsville American Legion, 122 W. Cumberland St., Martinsville, IL 62442.
