My dear sweet Lois (Mom),
My heart will forever be broken. So privileged to have known you. My only regret is that we didn't get to see each other more. Oh how I love you and you'll will always remain in my heart. I know I have an Angel watching over me. Please give a hug to my little one if you see him. Rest in God's loving arms my friend. xoxo

Sorry for your loss I thought of her as a nice lady. I pray the Lord will comfort you at this time of loss.

I'm a very good friend to Dennis Clough your son and his wife here in Evening Shade Ar and I'm so sorry Dennis for your loss I know that you loved your mother dearly and that you are going to miss her so much prayers to you and the family and grand and great grandchildren may the Lord help you walk this walk that you have to take in the event of her death. May he bless you as you grieve over your Mother that has gone to be with the other Angels in heaven.

Aunt Lois was one of a kind and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was a beautiful woman inside and out.

Lois Genivieve's Obituary

Lois Genivieve Sanchez, age 86, of Casey, IL passed away at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at her home in Casey, IL.  She was born September 26, 1932 in Valparaiso, IN, the daughter of Clarence Emmit Dill and Leah Margaret Guy Dill.  On April 7, 1997 she married Salvador Nieto Sanchez in Jefferson, TX.

Survivors include her husband, Salvador Sanchez of Casey, IL; daughter, Susan Kimbrough of Casey, IL; sons, Dennis E. Clough (Remona) of Evening Shade, AR and Billy Lee Clough (Tracey) of Hallsville, TX; grandchildren, Sonya Kimbrough-Young (Donnie), Joshua Joe Kimbrough, Tammy L. Sinclair (Scott), Jamie Clough (Tona) and Justin Lee Clough (Theresa Angela); fourteen great grandchildren;  brother, Joseph Dill (Sheila) of Spokane, WA and sister, Judy Brooke (Larry) of Casey, IL.  She was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Dennis Clough; brothers, Robert Dill, Richard Dill, Bill Dill and James Dill and sisters, Evelyn VanHouten and Doris Craig.

Mrs. Sanchez was a homemaker, waitress and photographer.  She enjoyed working for Larry Robison Photography Studio in Tyler, TX.  Lois was a generous person having donated to many charities throughout her life.  She attended the Martinsville Baptist Church and enjoyed watching TV Evangelists.  Lois enjoyed spending time working with ceramics, needlework and skating.  She loved people, life, waitressing and traveling; her greatest joy was the time she shared with her family especially her grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Markwell Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Washington  Street Cemetery, Casey, IL.  Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the service on Monday at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
