I remember Rovana well - even though I was just a kid. I was always over at the McCrary's house playing, and Rovana would often be there. Rest in peace Rovana.

Rovana I. Shute, age 79, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. in her home.
Rovana was born on October 16, 1939 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Herschel H. “Doe” and Opal (McCrary) Shute. She had worked as a homemaker and at the Garment Factory. Rovana enjoyed babysitting and spending time with her family and close friends and had a deep love for animals.
Survivors include several cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles.
Rovana’s wishes were to have a private burial in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Memorial donations may be made to Perry County Humane Society.
