May God Bless you Cindy and your family....Cindy was always the sweetest person and lived her family! Im shoc kn ed to recently find out shes passed, but at least sges with the Lord where there is no pain or sorrow. God bless.

Cindy and I went to Sunday School together at the Methodist Church. She will always have a special place in my heart and in my memories. I'm so very sorry to the family for your loss.

Cindy's Obituary

Cindy Trail, age 61, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL.

Cindy was born on May 13, 1958 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter of Lacy and Norma (Klingenberg) Dunn. She married Larry “Hap” Trail on April 4, 1981 at First United Methodist Church, Pinckneyville, IL and he survives.  She owned and operated a ceramics shop in Pinckneyville, IL, worked as a supervisor for Diamond Comics, and then owned and operated a daycare in Pinckneyville for many years.  Cindy was a member of the Daycare Association and Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL.  She loved camping, fishing, shopping, going to yard sales, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Hap Trail of Pinckneyville, IL; her mother, Norma Dunn of Pinckneyville, IL; her son, Jared (Carrie) Trail of Pinckneyville, IL; four grandchildren, Hunter, Lacey, Lydia and Dylan Trail; two sisters, Linda Dunn of Lanesville, IN and Brenda (Gary) Pratt of Pinckneyville, IL; her mother-in-law, Mary Trail of Pinckneyville, IL; two brothers-in-law, Dean (Kathy) Trail of Pinckneyville, IL and Mark (Lisa) Trail of Denmark, IL; one sister-in-law, Mary Priebe of Percy, IL; several aunts and uncles; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and dear friends, Crystal Campbell and Debbie Vuichard.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lacy Dunn; father-in-law, Hal Trail; one sister in infancy, Sharon Dunn; and two brothers-in-law, Ed Trail and Merle Priebe.

Funeral services will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.

Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
