Dolly J. McFarland

Dolly was a special person....always such a sweet smile. I've traveled with Dolly and Gene on many big trips....China, Africa, Costa Rica (where Dolly zip-lined) and Amsterdam to name only a few. I've enjoyed weekly dinners with Dolly and Gene over the last few years. I'll really miss Dolly.

The light of joy that Dolly shared with our family during our years in Charleston was wonderful! She lived life well and made others feel valued. Our prayers are with you!

It is true that Dolly always had a smile on her face. I knew Dolly from a very young age as a friend of my parents. Myrtle Beach trips always come to mind when I think of Dolly and Gene. She was an amazing counselor at CHS and helped me to get through. Your going to be missed Mrs. Mac. Hope your teaching someone to dance

Gene (Mac), Jeanna, and Lynn we are very sorry to hear of the passing of Dolly. She was always positive and a great teacher. Dolly was one of Charleston, Illinois' finest. Our thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.

My family were friends of the MAC family. She was a wonderful person as well Her wonderful family! We are sad, but so blessed to have been friends with Her and the entire MAC family! Sending Love and Comfort!

We will always remember Dollys beautiful smile and friendly greeting as well as a strong connection to my parents, Bob and Ruth Carey who also enjoyed dancing and being active in the community. She and Gene will be in our thoughts and prayers daily.
