Thank u dad hutson for being an amazing father to me

Ive known dad hutson since age 13, was adopted into the family. Dad never really talked alot (wen i was around) and i always loved the many times he wud speak up and razz mama faye, or listen to and take his advice on anything cuz the man was smart as ever. I always got chocolate covered cherries on my birthday. Dad im sorry I missed getting to say goodbye and it breaks my heart. I love u always and fly high

I think that Wilburn must have been overly conscious about the pronunciation of his first name. I frequently heard him saying during our CHS days, "Have match, will burn."
Sorry to learn about his unexpected passing.

I am so sorry to hear about Wilburn's passing...I remember him being a very kind and witty person. Even though it was quite a long time ago, I am glad to have gotten to meet and know him and some of your family. You are all in my prayers.

I always enjoyed talking to Wilburn at work and in What's Cookin'. We both shared interests in computers and electronics, and old radios. I was very sorry to hear of his passing. He even made me a clock out of an old computer disk drive. I will always cherish the memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
