1933 - 2023

Loretta J. Brosh, 90, of Mt. Pleasant, was unexpectedly ushered into the presence of her Savior on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023. While hearts are breaking, the family is thankful that she is in heaven with the Lord. She will be missed more than words could ever express. She was born Jan. 10, 1933, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Milton and Amanda Yothers Pritts. Loretta was a founding member of Mt. Carmel Community Church in Prittstown. One of her favorite things in life was to cook and bake favorite foods for her family and friends, which she did until her final days. She is survived by her sons, John Brosh and his wife, Debbie, of Scottdale, David Brosh, of Irwin, and Brian Brosh, of Irwin; her grandchildren, Rebekah Spader and her husband, William and Jonathan Brosh; her great-grandchildren, Caleb, Keegan and Emma; her sisters, Gladys Brosh, of Scottdale, Beulah Coffman, of Mt. Pleasant, and Emma Lou Mills, of Ruffsdale; her brothers, Paul Pritts and his wife, Dalene, of Mt. Pleasant, and Richard Pitts and his wife, Linda, of Mt. Pleasant; and many nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William C. Brosh, in 2011; brothers, Milton Jr., Eugene and Carl Pritts; and sisters, Hilda Welker and Betty Lute. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant. Additional viewing will take place from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of funeral services, Monday in Mt. Carmel Community Church, with the Rev. Rick Fox officiating.
