So sorry for your loss! We met at South Flint Tabernacle during a Sunday service with Bus Ministry. Sonya was a great lady who loved her children and meeting new people. I will miss her sweet smile and talks.

Sonya was my friend first then became a sister.we had some fun times together, laughed hard and cried together.
We grew into a family and never waived away from each other although we lived miles away.

Though I didn't know Sonya well, I knew her well enough to know that her children meant everything to her. I first met her as one of the administrators of the school her daughter Talia attended and had the honor of getting to know Talia. As time went on, I moved on to other things, only to realize years later that Sonya and members of my family were close friends, even best friends and we were connected by family long before I even knew it.
