Michelle Alyssa Go, 40, of New York, NY, was tragically killed on January 15, 2022, at the Times Square subway station in New York City. Michelle was born in Berkeley, CA, to Justin Go and Marjorie Tom on December 29, 1981.
Michelle attended American High School in Fremont, CA and graduated in 1998. She went on to earn a B.A. in Economics from UCLA (2002) and an M.B.A. from NYU, Stern School of Business (2010). After earning her M.B.A., Michelle joined Barclays Capital in their Investment Banking Group and later joined the consulting group at Deloitte, where she assisted clients with their mergers and acquisitions efforts. For over a decade, Michelle volunteered with the New York Junior League, helping at-risk communities.
Michelle had a love of life, loved her family, and loved to meet and work with people. She made and kept up with countless friends from grade school to college to graduate school and at her workplaces. Michelle was smart, funny, big hearted, a role model and loved to travel the world to meet new people and different cultures.
Michelle is survived by her parents, Justin and Marjorie, and her brother, Jefferey, of Fremont, CA. She is preceded in death by her sister, Marissa.
Funeral services for Michelle were held at the Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery in Hayward, CA, on Feb. 19, 2022.
