I am Lisa Owen, George's daughter. I happened to see this while doing a search for my father's family. I am very sad to see Uncle James had passed. I remember how kind he was to me when I was a child.

My heart is heavy upon learning of Mr. Owen's passing. I have many find childhood memories of times spent at the Owen household and the always fun neighborhood pool parties. My love and prayers to the family.

For some reason I could never call Jim and Verna by their first names..it was always Mr. and Mrs. Owen. RIP Mr. Owen...you always had a smile on your face and a happy glint in your eye. My heart goes out to Mrs. Owen for your loss...a perfect couple.

I am Jim's grandson, Steven's girlfriend. I've known this family for 10 years and im so glad to have them in my life. Grandpa has done so much for me; he allowed me to stay under his roof, he took great care of me, and i miss him so much.

Dad, we all love and miss you so very much. Thank you for being the best father and not just a father in law to me. Besides going on our trip to S.D to see grandma Larsen, one of my other fondest memories of spending time with you, was going out for coffee and fresh strawberry shortcake together.
