Dixie,
I am sorry to hear about Aunt Bessie Nell. If I would have known, I would have come to the funeral and brought my mom. Your mom was my dad's favorite sister and it is nice to know they are together again.

We were lucky enough to be Bess's next door neighbors for over 12 years. My kids took to Bess and Harold the moment we moved in. It was always a pleasure to sit with Bessie and watch the neighborhood as we talked about anything and everything. She was such a good friend. One of the most wonderful souls I have ever met. She had certainly tasted all the bounties of life. I hope the family finds comfort in fond memories and knowing she was such a happy person and shared that love and light with everyone she met. We are all blessed to have had her in her in our life! I am sure there are many who will love her "forevermore". Blessings and light to her family and friends during this time. Bess was well loved. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.

We will always treasure our Bessie. We were lucky enough to have been her next door neighbors for 12 years and were lucky to have met her wonderful family. My sons took to her and Harold like ducks to water. I very much enjoyed all my visits we had over the years sitting together, talking and watching the neighborhood. I adored the stories she told of her life. She certainly had tasted of all of life's bounties. We hope that all the family is bathed in warm memories of what a wonderful and special woman Bess was. I know we shall love her "Forevermore". Blessings to all her family and friends. She was a treasure.

Bess-it wasn't until I was in high school that I realized you were my grandma by marriage, you loved me and my sisters as your own grand kids, as well as my kids as your own great grands! You were always so positive and saw the good in everyone! You were such a gentle loving person and I'm a better person for knowing you! I will miss your excitement when I would call and you filling me in on how things were going!! I love you and will miss you greatly! Tell papa hello, give him big hugs and kisses and we will meet again soon!!

Bess, we will miss you so much. You are a beautiful person and your kindness will be remember for every in my heart. So many hours of just setting and talking with you, what a blessing and wonderful memories. You took such good care of Dad and for that I will be forever greatful. We were there together at his bed side when he took his last breath. You were always so caring for my family and reached out to share that love to everyone. The world is a better place becuase of you. God knew the world needed you and your always positive outlook on every sitaution. My girls loved you so much and you loved them. We never talked that you did not ask about them and all their children. You were always so proud of Matt and JJ. You were always eager to share their accomplishment and the love you had for them as well. In fact, Bess you just loved everyone. In God's time we will all be together again. Please keep looking down in my direction and wispering encouragement in my ear as you have done for 30 plus years. Love you so much!
