DeRea, Judith C.Judith C. DeRea, 84, of Bangor, passed away, Friday, at Old Orchard Health Care Center. She was the wife of Philip J. "PD" DeRea, together they celebrated 60 years of marriage on May 9th. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday, at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Third and Garibaldi Avenues, Roseto. There will be viewing hours, Tuesday, beginning at 6 PM until 8 PM at the Guerro & Ruggiero Funeral Home, www.ruggierofuneralhome.com, Pen Argyl and Wednesday beginning at 8:15 AM until 9:15 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Roseto.

Dear PD, Mary and Brad, Kathy and Aaron,

Judy was the type of person who inspired integrity in those around her; she encouraged others to be the best people they could be. That's reflected in your life by your strong faith.
Her love of her God and His Blessed Mother were such a part of her everyday life. She was a role model for all of us to demonstrate and practice that strong devotion.
I admire the life that Judy lived. She was kind, gentle, non-judgemental, loving and devout.
I know in my heart, she was welcomed with open arms by Our Blessed Lady and is resting in peace with all the Angels and Saints. A peace she earned and is so well-deserved.

P.D., Kathy and Aaron--All of you are in my prayers. I was fortunate enough to get to know Judy and spend time with her before her passing. Seeing Judy and P.D. together always brought tears to my eyes--it was obvious how in love they were. You have a beautiful family. Dear P.D., Mary and Kathy, We are saddened to hear of Judy's death. She was our link to our old neighborhood in Roseto. Mary, Brad, Kathy and Aaron, I returned home just yesterday after being in Bradenton for 2 months and learned of Judy's passing, Please accept my sincerest condlences. When I learned of her being in Hospice Care, I thought to myself, she will wait for Mary. Know that you all will be remembered in my prayers. Judy was an extremely humble, gentle and caring person and I am sure, our Divine Lord has a special place in heaven for her. God Bless.
