Denis Krahn, age 72, United States Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Babe for 46 years. Loving father of Tamara (Michael) Jackson, Kimberly Krahn and Christine (Daniel) McDermott. Cherished grandfather of Alex and Bella Jackson. Devoted son of Gertrude Krahn. Dear brother of Shirley (the late Richard) Bayers, Willie (the late Geraldine) Krahn and Bud (Nancy) Krahn. Funeral Thursday 9:15 am from RICHARD J. MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 12641 W. 143RD St. Homer Glen, Il to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mass 10:00 am. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Denis was an avid fisherman, hunter and nature lover. We are sorry for your loss. Tom enjoyed rehashing their Army days with Dennis. We smile when remembering Dennis reviewing each hole when we came in after a game of golf at South Shore CC. Dennis was a good guy and a lot of fun. We will miss him. We salute him for his service.
