Todd Krahn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Plymouth on Dec. 19, 2025.
So God called for a Groomer Operator. Sheboygan County lost a good one: Todd M. Krahn on December 15, 2025. "Snowman" and "L J" affectionately known by his friends, is at peace in heaven. His dedication to snowmobiling and everything associated with the sport will go unmatched, "He was a legend."
Todd lived his entire life in Sheboygan County and lived for 49 years in the home where he was born. He established his place in the community, well known for his dedication to the sport of snowmobiling and fire department activities. Todd was the president and lifelong member of the Beechwood Night Fliers Snowmobile Club, Trail Master and Groomer Operator, Northern
Kettle Moraine Snowmobile Association Vice President, and Snowmobile Safety Instructor. Todd's greatest love was snowmobiling and everything related to the sport. He took great pride in a smooth trail and was adamant about safety and preserving the landowners property. He was an active member of the Beechwood Fire Department for over 25 years, and just recently holding office as acting Secretary. He was active in many events, parades, maintenance, and several time Water Fight Champion!
Todd's name was well known throughout his community, Sheboygan County and beyond. He was a guy who knew how to fix just about anything, he used a commonsense approach to finding answers, a deep thinker, handyman, strong work ethic, and would be there to help you out day or night. He enjoyed working on snowmobiles and was always willing to help people prep their sleds for the season.
He had a passion for diesel power that he wore on his arm. This led him to compete in many tractor and truck pulls across Wisconsin. Through his own research and learning, he taught himself diesel mechanics which allowed him to troubleshoot problems and become a resource in helping others. He was a heavy equipment operator at Michels Materials, Buteyn-Peterson Construction, and most recently at H & H Utility.
In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, spending time with family, friends, playing cards and traveling the northern trails on his side-by-side. Always ready to strike up a conversation, just to talk about anything.
After graduating from Kewaskum High School, Todd married Nicole Enright and they made their home on his homestead in Beechwood. Together, they would build a life doing the things they both loved the most: Snowmobiling, camping and 4-wheeling. This would include several trips to many areas of Canada, Montana, Minnesota, Maine, upper and lower Michigan and all over Wisconsin. He was always perfecting his open fire cooking "best steaks ever" and Amaretto was his favorite cocktail. His laugh was infectious, he was always in for a good joke, and the way his face would light up when you mentioned snowmobiling was brighter than snow itself.
Those Todd leaves behind include his mom, Sandra Krahn, brother Terry (Jennifer) Krahn, brother Tim (Sandy) Krahn, and sister Robin (Bill) Lemkuil. Nicole Krahn. Nephews Mitchell (Shannen) Krahn, Devin Krahn and Samuel Krahn. Great-Nephew Maxwell and Great-Niece Brooklynn. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and more friends than you can imagine. The Beechwood community will suffer his loss for many years. Preceding him in death were his dad, Wesley Krahn and an infant brother, Thomas. Grandparents, aunts and uncles.
So God called for a Groomer Operator
One cold winter night, God looked out across the snowy lands and decided he needed someone hardworking who preps the land, highlighting their dedication to creating perfect trails, much like a farmer tending land, emphasizing the skill, long hours, and passion for creating a great experience from challenging conditions. God said you need to be willing to navigate deep powder, icy patches, and variable conditions. You will need to work long hours and cold nights to prepare trails for season openings.
So God called Todd Krahn
12/15/2025
May you rest in peace, grooming trails in heaven. An all-around good guy and friend to anyone he met.
Todd will continue to live on helping others through the Versiti Tissue Donation Organization.
