Mrs. Camilla Cecilia Scott

Camilla C. Scott, 85, of Lake Monticello, departed this life on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a proud donor of 100+ pints of blood to the Red Cross. She was born in Grand Island, Nebraska and moved to Washington, DC to work for the Navy Department during WWII. She leaves behind her loving husband Bascom C. Scott, a World War II veteran; daughters, Joanne Scott Denny of Richmond, VA and Susan Crichley of Saverna Park, MD; son, Randolph T. "Randy" Scott of Fork Union, VA; and grandchildren, Matthew Scott Denny of Ft. Leavenworth, KS, Katherine D. Brabham of Greensboro, NC, Kevin Cooley of Lancaster, PA; and great grandchildren Alessio Denny, Kameron Cooley, Hayes Brabham and Vance Brabham. She had a great spirit to live. She will be missed. Memorials may be made to the Lake Monticello Rescue Squad, 14 Slice Road, Palmyra, VA 22963. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
