Christopher Oswalt Obituary

Christopher "Chris" Oswalt Blue Springs- Chris Oswalt, 53, passed away on September 22, 2025 at the NMMC. He was an avid MSU, Atlanta Braves and Raiders fan. He enjoyed coaching baseball and watching his grandson, Asher and nephew, Jordan play ball. Chris loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was an air conditioning engineer and member of the Assembly of God. Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday, September 28, 2025 @ 2:00 p. m. with Bro. David Singleton officiating. Burial will be in Campbelltown Cemetery. He is survived by his father, Raymond Oswalt; daughter Megan Buse (Blake); son, Brett Oswalt; sister, Kimberley Singleton (David); brother, Jody Oswalt; grandchildren, Asher, Jett and Hudson Buse; host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Sanders Oswalt and his grandparents. Pallbearers will be Jon Beasley, Brian Beasley, Jody Oswalt, Blake Buse, Jordan Tapp, Boomer Singleton, Kevin Curry and Hunter Curry. Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday from noon until service time @ 2:00 p. m.
