I only learned recently that my Dad was a member of the Zebra Platoon. I wanted to contact Mr. Kawaguchi to thank him for writing the article about the Zebra Platoon. My Dad never spoke of his MISLS experience nor the special platoon. While searching for more information, I discovered that Mr. Kawaguchi passed away last October as have many of the 100th/442nd and MISLS veterans. Arigatou gozaimasu Mr. Kawaguchi, for wrting the article.
