Connor Hall Obituary

Connor Joseph Hall, age 19, of Lockeford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on October 24, 2010, after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. He was born in Lodi, California on May 23, 1991, to Barry and Lonnie (Briggs) Hall. Connor was a graduate of Stanford High School. He enjoyed playing poker with his friends, boating, skiing, snowboarding, and quadding. He also loved his truck and his Camaro. Connor always remained positive and will be remembered for his wonderful smile. He will also be remembered for his farming abilities. Most of all, Connor loved his family, and because of his influence, they will continue on living by his creed: "Life is too short."Connor is survived by his mother: Lonnie Hall (Johnny McDonald); sisters: Nicole Clark (Matthew), Kristy Hall, Darlene Hall (Jim), and Kylie Hall; brother: Justin Hall (Gina); nieces: Bailie and Adyson; aunties: Cindy Peters, Lisa McKeown, and Nancy Hall; uncles: Richard Hall, Steven Hall, and Richard Briggs; grandparents: Rene and Bob Klotz; great grandmother: Adele Laskey; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Barry Hall, in 2003.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 28, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church with committal to immediately follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. October 26, 2010

Dear Lonnie and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Connor's passing. Nick sent me a message from his ship to tell me about Connor. He sends his thoughts and prayers your way. He is very sorry he cannot be there for the service. I feel blessed to have known Connor. Our families shared a lot together from experiences at St. Paul, Lockeford Elementary, Lodi High, and I don't know how many sports they played together. So many irreplacable memories. Some of which, included Connor and Nick getting into trouble at Incredible Wednesdays. I'm sure there teachers could tell a few stories too.
With God's Blessing,

My deepest sympathies to you as your family endures this painful loss. May your memories be cherished and warm your heart through your darkest times. As I remember Connor as a middle school student at Houston, I can't help but smile. His sense of humor was infectious as was his smile and quick laugh. We will miss Connor greatly. We loved getting to see you when you would come to visit either in the garage while working on dirtbikes or out at the hillclimbs. It has been a privledge watching you grow into a great young man. I still remember you had to have a "boy cheese" sandwich instead of a grilled (girl) cheese because of course you are a boy. Love and Miss you!
