Lynda Joy Rowe

1944 - 2010

Lynda Joy Rowe, age 66, a former Lodi resident presently of Elk Grove, CA passed away on December 19, 2010. She was born to Alfred and Pauline Sisk on March 30, 1944 in Hutchinson, Kansas. The family moved to Lodi in 1955, and she was a graduate of Lodi High School class of 1962. She and her husband, Thomas Rowe, moved to Elk Grove in 2008.
Lynda and Tom were married on March 30, 1963 and made their home in Lodi. She enjoyed being a homemaker, and especially loved life, her grandchildren, and her home in Elk Grove. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Lodi, and a member and past officer of the Lodi Eagles Auxiliary. In the past Lynda enjoyed bowling, but also watching baseball, golf, people, and the cooking channel.
Lynda is survived by her husband of 47 years, Tom Rowe of Elk Grove; sons, Jeff of Elk Grove, and Cory and his wife Sandra of England; grandson, Andrew and granddaughter, Nichole Rowe; brothers, Clyde Socha, and Joe Socha and his wife Glenda; also an aunt, an uncle, and numerous cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 831 Industrial Way, near Beckman Road, Lodi. Father Brandon Ware of St. Anne's Catholic Church will officiate.
Private committal will be in the Temple of Memories Mausoleum in Cherokee Memorial Park.
