Brenda Adams Obituary

Brenda M. Adams of Lowell, worked at Wang Labs; 53 LOWELL Brenda M. (Riley) Adams, 53, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, from Malignant Melanoma. Born in Lowell, MA, she was the wife of the late Russell J. Adams, and daughter of Margaret M. (O'Sullivan) Riley of Largo, FL, and the late William J. Riley. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1972, and earned a BS degree in Business Management from Northeastern University in 1999. She began her career working for the Drug Enforcement Administration in Boston, and was then employed for 20 years at Wang Laboratories. Prior to her illness, she worked as an administrative assistant at Sun Microsystems and Siemens. She enjoyed traveling, and frequenting Foxwoods Casino. Besides her mother, she is survived by a daughter Tara L. Adams of Lowell; three brothers, James Riley, Brian Riley and his wife, Lori, all of Texas, William Riley of Lowell; two sisters, Judith Levasseur and her husband, Richard, and Mary Ellen Dillon, all of Dracut. She is also survived by three stepchildren, Dawn Morand and her husband, David of North Harwich, Mark Adams and his wife, Jackie, Scott Adams, all of Lowell; two step grandchildren, Samantha and Sabrina Morand; several nieces and nephews; many close friends, and her dear friend, Charles Koza of Lawrence. ADAMS Brenda M. (Riley) Adams, of Lowell, MA, died April 23, 2008. Visiting hours Fri. 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 Middlesex St., Chelmsford, MA. Funeral Sat. 8:30 A.M. from the funeral home with a 9:30 Mass at St. Margaret's Church, Lowell. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tewksbury.
