David Charles Faulkner Sr. loyal Boston Red Sox fan; 63 Ann Arbor, MI David Charles Faulkner Sr., of Ann Arbor, MI, 63, died on Friday, May 30, 2008 at the University of Michigan Hospital. He was born October 14, 1944 in Dracut, son of the late Charles and Kathena "Kay" Faulkner. David graduated from Dracut High School. He was a longtime employee of CVS in Rhode Island, as Head of Advertising, a position he left in 1979. Upon leaving CVS he founded and became president of FDN&P Advertising where he retired in 2005. Over the years he was active in many organizations including serving as the president of the Somerset Valley Visiting Nurses Association in Somerville, NJ. The Visiting Nurses Association of America honored David as their 2000 volunteer of the year. He was also a part time advertising instructor at the Raritan Valley Community College in Somerville, NJ. On June 12, 1988 David was married to Marilyn Hauch in Hackettstown, NJ. After his retirement David and Marilyn moved to Ann Arbor, MI where he quickly became president of the Lake Forest Highlands Home Owners Association and volunteered on the Pittsfield Board of Taxation. Throughout his life David was a loyal Boston Red Sox fan and an avid member of the Red Sox Nation. David is survived by his wife, Marilyn and her son Michael Rondelli; his children David Faulkner Jr. and his wife Christine; Cheryl Faulkner-Savely; his grandson, Trevor Savely; his sister Phyllis Klimkofsky, and members of his extended family. FAULKNER The family will receive friends at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Liberty Road Chapel, 3767 W. Liberty Rd, Ann Arbor, MI on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 10 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 am.
