Raymond Ferreira Obituary

Raymond M. Ferreira enjoyed riding motorcycles, avid football fan Ferreira Raymond M. "Big Ray" Ferreira, age 63, resident of Archambault Towers, died Friday, May 30th, 2008 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Lowell, on September 29, 1945, he was a son of the late Manuel Jose and Mathilda (Nadeau) Ferreira. He attended Lowell Schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. Prior to his illness, Ray had worked as a Truck Driver for several local trucking companies. He was a member of the former Ste. Jeanne D'Arc Parish, and a U.S. Navy veteran. Ray was a member of the Pawtucketville Social Club for over 30 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid football fan, and supporter of the Lowell Red Raiders. His survivors include two sons, Toby M. Ferreira of Nashua, NH, and Jamason J. Ferreira and his wife Colleen of Milford, NH; one grandchild, Amanda Marie Ferreira, of Tyngsboro; a brother, Roger A. Ferreira and his wife Irene, of Lowell; Also survived by nieces and nephews. FERREIRA Raymond M. "Big Ray" Ferreira, age 63, a resident of Archambault Towers, died May 30th, 2008. Family and Friends are invited to attend his Prayer Services, Wednesday, June 4th at 4 o'clock at the ARCHAMBAULT FUNERAL HOME, 309-311 Pawtucket St., Lowell, followed by his visiting hours until 7 pm. Cremation, Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ray may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Funeral Director Victor J. Archambault II (978-459-9315).
