David Edwards Obituary

David E. Edwards enjoyed camping, NASCAR fan; 68 Albany, NH David E. Edwards, 68, of Albany, NH died June 17, 2008 at his home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Edwards was born February 6, 1940 in Lowell, MA, son of the late James A. and Violet (Hughes) Edwards. He lived in Nashua for many years before moving to Conway in 1987 and then to Albany last year. In Nashua he worked as a car wholesaler for Tulley Buick and the former Clyde Garfield. He enjoyed watching his grandson race cars at SCCA Events, and was a NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed camping at Salisbury Beach and sitting by the campfire with his granddaughter. He always enjoyed Cruise Nights in his Street Rod, drinking Pepsi, and smoking his cigars. Predeceased by two brothers and a sister, James and Harold Edwards and Louise Bettencourt, he leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Esther (Lapoint) Edwards, of Albany, two daughters, and their husbands Deborah Ann and Daniel Maynard of Hudson, Sandra Lee and Steven Vizard of Albany, a brother Donald Edwards of Dracut, a grandson and his wife David Paul and Tanya Maynard, and a granddaughter Amanda Vizard. EDWARDS At his request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 11 Vanderbilt Ave., Ste 105, Norwood, MA 02062. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of West Ossipee, NH is assisting the family with the arrangements.
