Alan Clement Obituary

Alan Clement loved to go sailing and camping; 73 Derry, NH Alan Clement, 73, of Derry, NH and formerly of Wilmington, MA, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. He was born in South Shields, London, England, a son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Dale) Clement. Mr. Clement was employed with WJ Roberts Company, Inc. as a machinist and attended St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry. Mr. Clement a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was the foundation of his family and he was honest to a fault. He loved to go sailing and camping with his family. Mr. Clement is survived by his wife Florence (Floyd) Clement; two sons, Paul Clement of Tewksbury, MA and Phillip Clement and his wife Karen of Derry, NH; two daughters, Teresa Batten and her husband Kenneth of Salem, NH and Barbara Palazzo of Derry, He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; as well as one sister, Germane Artist of Canada and his best man and best friend Robert 'Bob' Simpson of Canada. CLEMENT Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 22nd from 2-5 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street in Derry. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry.
