JD, Brian, and I shared many times together through college. I fondly remember JD's wit, charm, and enthusiasm. He was one of those people who everyone wanted to spend time with because he was so exuberant and fun. I am so sorry for his passing and my sincerest sympathies go out to the Martineau family on this sad occasion.

John was my brothers' best friend for years. My memories of John are so vivid as he was the one by David's side during our darkest days. There are few friends like that. John was that type of friend, both to my brother and to my family and for that I am eternally grateful. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Martineau, Lisa and Jimmy;
I want you to know how very sorry I am for your loss. John was an extremely caring and compassionate person and his generosity knew no bounds. Without your son and your welcome home, I do not know if I would have made it through high school. His thoughtfulness and his lending hand will never be forgotten. Through the years our contact may have dwindled but I have always considered him a very important part of my life. I want to let you know how much he will be missed. Both your family and especially John were there for me as well as my family during one of our most difficult times and that is something that I have never forgotten nor will forget.
Our thoughts are with you and yours.
