Although I only met you a couple of times I am blessed to know John and Irene. Both of them show what a wonderful parent you were just by being the people you raised them to be. Both are compassionate, caring and natually kind and I know you were too. This world will change without you but I hope when you left you left proudly knowing that those you left behind will not only hold you deep in their hearts but that the best parts of you will live on in them and they will continue your legacy by spreading your spirit for so long yet to come.

Maydelle

So small and fragile, slightly smiling
She lay still yet, so peacefully
Her hands in her lap as if waiting
Although her spirit was already free
So many tears, so many fears
So much love consumed the air
Flowers, photos and cards to say sorry…
Memories that loved ones will share
I looked through the pictures
I looked at her face, her red dress, so feminine
I felt the breeze from her angel’s wings
She will always be a part of all of them
I fought back tears, and swallowed hard
Feeling as if she wouldn’t want everyone to cry
I hugged Bill tightly knowing that he’d be
The last to ever want to say good bye
Before I walked away leaving her to her peace
I smiled at her knowing somewhere,
She was watching over, smiling back
Keeping a close eye on everyone there
As I drove away into the surreal
I whispered to myself, knowing she’d hear
You were a good woman to leave them so much
All that love that they hold so dear
As on Earth, now in Heaven
Sweet and kind Maydelle
Spread your wings wide and fly high
You have always been an Angel

Grandma you will be missed dearly, I will hold all of our memories close to my heart. I will never forget staying with you in Florida with my friend Alisha we had a blast. I will never forget how you were always cold and would wear your sweater in the 90 degree Florida weather with your glasses around your neck. How your face lit up the day you saw Jacob(your great-grandson) for the very first time. I will continue to show him pictures as he gets older... you will never be forgotten! I Love you grandma!

Aunt Dolly, You were always so kind and welcoming. I loved visiting you and your family in Tewksbury. I will never forget you had one of the worlds biggest & coldest above the ground pools. You always made sure there was always something interesting to do, swimming, golf, ice skating, batting cages, piano, etc. I remember that you and the family took the VW Bug 1500 miles to visit us. I appreciate that you took loving care of our dog GiGi for a while and that lead to you getting Ceasar the dog. You are gone but not forgotten. You will be forever loved and sorely missed.
