Father Finn: I just heard about your mother today (7/09/08). I wish I'd known - - I would have been at the wake and/or funeral. For now please know that you are in my thoughts.

I had the privilege to attend my Aunt Chrissie wake and funeral and to be with my seven first cousins, their extended families and to share in her great and final farewell to their wonder mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother.
She was a special Aunt to all her nieces and nephnews both in America and in her native Ireland. She was the longestest living member of 16 siblings and was in her 96th year.
She and her late husband Jim were remarkable in their welcome to all of us who visited and stay with them.
I have an amazing love for all of the Finn family and I am so grateful to be loved by them in return. Our Mothers and Fathers gave us a great upbringing (Irish style) where our faith was nourished from birth and where the high standards of living for one and other was instilled in us by them. May they Rest in Peace. We have come along way but let us not forget our roots.

To the Finn and Conlon Families,
I have many many memories of Aunt Chrissy, my mind has been replaying many of those times over and over again these last few days.

You all made her so happy, and she always had a smile on her face when ever she was with her family.

I thank God for putting Auntie Julia into my life, as the rest of you came into it also.....

When i would be at your home on Cambridge St. i knew that after my hug, i would always get a cup of tea and most often something homemade to eat!!! picking veggies from the garden or going blueberry picking with "my" two Aunties was always full of fun.

Please know that i have kept your Mom/Nanna in my thoughts and prayers always, as i have all of you now.

thanks for letting me be apart of your family all those years.

God Bless, Linda
