Marjorie Hawkins Obituary

Marjorie L. Hawkins Enjoyed spending time with her family PEPPERELL Marjorie L. Hawkins, a longtime Pepperell resident, recently residing in Port Orange, Florida, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Marjorie was the wife of Roger W. Hawkins, and they recently celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary. Marjorie was the first born child of the late Lionel and Marjorie (Gardner) Cornellier. She was born in Nashua, NH, on September 2, 1933. Marjorie was employed at Bemis Bag, Inc. for 25 years, and retired in 1996. She has been living in Port Orange, Florida for the last five years, enjoying her time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, she is survived one daughter, Gloria (O'bea) Griffis and her husband, Bobby (Griff) of Townsend; and three sons, John (Jack) O'bea and friend, Mary Jane Geoffrion of Harwick, MA, Thomas Hawkins and his wife, Heather of Pepperell, MA, Daniel Hawkins and his wife, Amy of Lake Mary, FL. She has eight grandchildren, Ardelle, Douglas and Aubrey Hawkins of Lake Mary, FL, Bryanna, Devan and Megan Hawkins of Pepperell, Bobby Griffis and his wife, Audrey of New Ipswich, NH, and Keith Griffis and his wife, Amy of Hudson, MA; and one great-grandchild, Corinne Griffis of New Ipswich, NH; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She is survived by brothers, Lionel (Tardy) Cornellier and his wife, Alice, and brother, Charles Cornellier; sisters, Louise Hawkins and Betty Conley. Also close friends, Pauline Hawkins, Reginald White, and Shirley Mitchell. She was predeceased by her sister, Carol Rice. HAWKINS Marjorie L. (Cornellier) Hawkins, age 74, of Port Orange, FL, and formerly of Pepperell, wife of Roger W. Hawkins. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Psoriasis Foundation, 6600 SW 92nd Ave. Suite 300, Portland, OR 97223-7195. The MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME in Pepperell is in charge of arrangements.

Aunt Margie,
