Joanne Gomes Obituary

Miss Joanne M. Gomes formerly of Lowell; 46 HAWTHORNE Miss Joanne M. Gomes, of Hathorne, Massachusetts, formerly of Lowell, died Friday, July 4, 2008, at the Hogan Regional Center, Hathorne, after a lengthy illness, aged 46 years. Born in Lowell, on December 5, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Gomes and Eleanor M. (Duggan) Gomes. She resided in Lowell as a youngster, and received special education at the Holy Union School, formerly in Peabody and the Lighthouse School of Chelmsford. Miss Gomes moved to the Hogan Regional Center in September of 1983, where she received lots of love and wonderful care. She is survived by two sisters, Janice M. Gomes of Lowell and Jennifer Gomes of Tyngsboro; a brother and sister-in-law, James R. Gomes and Rose M. Udics of Arlington, Massachusetts; a niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Jonathan Gomes, both of Arlington. GOMES Died in Danvers, MA on July 4, 2008, Miss Joanne M. Gomes, after an extended illness, aged 46 years. Friends who wish may make Memorial Contributions in her name to the Hogan Regional Center, c/o Division 2 Gift Fund, 2 Hathorne Circle, 450 Maple St., Hathorne, MA 01937 ATT: Barbara Burns-Door Funeral Services were private. Sorry for your loss, I was at the Holy union and Lighthouse School Joann was in the pt and Ot class that I was a aide for , she had wonderful smile and she brings back fawn memories.
