Grampy will be missed. We just try to remember all of the good times. I remember going out for ice cream with Grammy and Grampy in the antique cars then going to car shows. I also remember helping feed the cows. Once my sister and I went to visit and one of the cows got lose so we had to chase it so, it wouldn't go on Andover St. Grampy came to the rescue when he came home for lunch and was able to get the cow back into the barn. I also remember making him and the rest of the plowers a cake one snow storm, when I was younger and when he came home he told me how much they loved the cake…That made me feel good.

Like my Uncle Andy said “You didn’t need to know Jack McCarthy but it was sure nice to know Jack McCarthy”.

Love always, one of your many grandchildren!!!!

I worked with Jack a very long time ago when I worked at the DPW as a CETA employee. He was so nice to me. I have great memories of Jack, Taddie Brown and Dick O'Neill.

I hope your memories give you comfort.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
