John left us 15 years ago. Today I still think of John and all that he represented to each of us who worked with him, and myself. A building of 400 plus team members, John knew us all. His kindness meant a lot to me and he embraced making our day. We used to meet up with others, using company provided computers in a break out area on the second floor. 3 or 4 of us would get together and order in Pizza while checking our emails or googling google sites. Lots of laughs and pizza had. I miss John but know he´s looking down at me and others, his friends, his family. He deserved so much more in this life. I´m glad to have met John. Rest well my friend. John has now been gone 13 years. He left an impression on me and so many others here at Toyota Financial. I recall the daily cart stopping by to pick up and deliver. John delivered every day from his heart, his Joy of living and his Joy of sharing. He´d strike up a song and we´d join in. He shared his home on several holidays cooking up a storm Bratwurst and the like. His home was an open haven for many of us who did not have family close by. I had the privilege of sharing Thanksgiving with Him and his Patricia. A fun joyous day. Our after hours visits to listen to Jazz topped of our week at work. John did all that he wished. He took a road trip to California not long before he passed. He spoke of heading Italy never ceasing to dream. This world is left with one less beautiful soul. I´ll not forget John but know he is looking down on us from the heavens above. Dream in my friend. You taught us well.

My prayers go out to Pat, Carol, and all of John's family in your time of grief. Although I miss John and his smiling face a great deal I believe he is in a better place and not suffering anymore. John could always make you laugh and always saw the good in everyone. May we all remember the good times we had with John and keep his memory in our hearts and in our prayers.

To the Stecchi family,
There comes a time after life that is very special. That time is the everlasting peace among the angels in heaven. John has touched more hearts than I can count. He always had a smile for everyone. My heart and my prayers are with all of you at this time and the days ahead.

My sympathies to Pat, Carol, and the rest of the family. Still have many memories of growing up on Concord Street with John and the rest of theStecchi family. Although I haven't seen John in many years, I see by reading the other posts, that he was still a great guy. Rest in Peace, John.

It is so sad to know that I won't get to see John's smiling face again, but only in my wonderful memories of him. John is truly one of the nicest, most caring people I've ever known. He always had a smile and something nice to say when I saw him everyday. We shared our love of the Red Sox, and I will always remember him for that. I am so glad he got to the Red Sox win not just one, but TWO World Series! He is so special to so many of us that he worked with at Toyota Financial. John, we love you always and will never forget you :)

It is so sad to think I won't get to see John's smiling face again, but only in my wonderful memories of him. He is truly one of the most wonderful people I have ever known - one who had a smile for me everyday when I saw him. We always shared our love of the Red Sox - I'm so glad he got to see them win not just one, but TWO World Series! I will forever think of him and that bond we shared over all the years I knew him at Toyota Financial Services. John, we love you always and will never forget you :)

I had the pleasure of working side by side with John in the mailroom when the TFS center opened in 2001. He was truly a wonderful friend and would give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would help you. He always thought of others before himself. One of the best things I will remember of John is when he was sad or unhappy (which wasn't often) I could always make him smile. You will always be forever in my heart John. May the Lord be with you and keep you for ever more.

I think the best memories I had of John was when we would order lunch on Fridays. We would go back and forth on which Chinese restaurant to order from. I also recall times when he would walk by my desk and say 'Yeah, what now'. John was a great friend and colleague and he will be greatly missed.
