Frank Cooper Obituary

Frank B. Cooper, Jr. Elks member, Veteran of WWII; 86 Tewksbury Frank B. Cooper, Jr., age 86, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Helen (Stevens) Cooper who died in 2003. He was born November 26, 1921 in Lawrence, MA, and was raised in Methuen, MA a son of the late Frank and Edna Cooper. He graduated from Medford High School, enlisted, and traveled the world in the US Navy. He was a survivor of the U.S.S. DeHaven during WWII. He settled in Tewksbury after his military service where he raised his family and was employed by H.P. Hood and Sons until his retirement. He was an active member of the Tewksbury-Wilmington Lodge of Elks, a Red Sox fan, and avid "MASH" watcher. He is survived by his daughters and a son-in-law, Donna Rezk of Tewksbury, Joanne and her husband Daniel Baillargeon of Salem, NH; his sisters and a brother-in-law, Lorraine Ruggerio of North Carolina, Jacqueline Goss of FL, Gail and her husband Edward Leary of Nashua, NH; his grandchildren, Christine Berube of VT, Tracy Berube of Salem, NH, and Heather Sykes of Tewksbury, his step grandchildren Karen Baillargeon of Salem, NH, Mark Baillargeon of FL, many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Walter and Herbert Cooper. COOPER of Tewksbury, Frank B. Cooper, Jr, 86, died July 14, 2008, in Methuen. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Helen (Stevens) Cooper. His funeral service will be Thursday, 10:00 A.M. July17 in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of Dewey and Main Sts. (Rte. 38), TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone (800 or 978) 851-2950. Burial will follow at the Tewksbury Cemetery. Visiting hours will be 4 - 7 P.M., Wednesday.
